Dear Bride & Groom,

I’m Carolin, a German wedding photographer based in Athens, Greece. I’ve been photographing weddings since 2014 — and I still get just as excited about them as I did when I was a little girl.

I’ve always loved the magic of weddings: the emotions, the little details, the flowers, the beautiful chaos — and, of course, the dress. But what I love most are the moments in between. The tears, the laughter, the way you look at each other when you think nobody is watching.

Those are the moments I want to preserve for you. So that years from now, you can look back at your photographs and not just remember how your wedding looked, but how it felt.

The Approach

Your wedding, as it actually felt.

I have been photographing weddings since 2014, and honestly, the thing I care about most is that your photos still make you feel something years from now.

I’m not the photographer who wants to turn your wedding into a two-day photoshoot. I’m there for the big moments, of course, but also for the tiny ones you might not even notice happening. Your dad trying not to cry. Your best friend fixing your dress. The way you look at each other when you think nobody is watching. Your grandparents dancing. The chaos, the laughter, the happy tears, the people you love most.

My style is mostly documentary and very natural. I’ll give you direction when you need it, especially during portraits, but I don’t want you spending your wedding day constantly posing for the camera. I want you actually to enjoy your wedding, and I’ll make sure the story of it is there for you afterwards.

Because your wedding photos shouldn’t just show you what happened. They should bring you right back there.

What you can expect from me

You’ll have a photographer who is calm, present and genuinely invested in your day. I’ll help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, even if you normally hate having your photo taken, and I’ll be there to quietly capture everything happening around you without constantly interrupting it.

Depending on your wedding and what you’re looking for, I offer coverage ranging from your wedding day to the entire wedding weekend, including the dinner and, if you’d like, portraits the following day.

For larger weddings, a second photographer can also join us, so we can tell the story from even more perspectives and make sure those little moments happening simultaneously don’t get missed.

And afterwards?

This is where the memories become something you can actually keep.

You’ll receive your fully edited, high-resolution images in a private online gallery that you can easily share with the people you love.

I also know how hard it is to wait for your wedding photos when you’re still on that post-wedding high, so you’ll receive a first selection of sneak peeks within 72 hours. Your complete gallery will be delivered within 4 weeks.

And of course, everything is planned with you beforehand. I want to know what matters to you, who your important people are, what you’re excited about and what you absolutely don’t want to miss. Your wedding isn’t a template, so your photography shouldn’t be one either.

I’m based in Greece and photograph weddings here as well as for couples coming from abroad. Whether you’re planning a big celebration, an intimate destination wedding or an entire wedding weekend, I want your photos to feel like you.

Questions

No. I keep things simple with all-inclusive packages, so there are no surprise travel or accommodation costs added afterwards. If your wedding requires travel, I’ll include everything in your package from the beginning.

Absolutely. Not every wedding needs ten hours of coverage and two photographers. I offer different packages depending on the size, timeline and plans for your day, and we can figure out together what actually makes sense for you.

To officially reserve your date, I require a 50% booking deposit. Once the contract is signed and the deposit has been received, your date is officially yours and I won’t book another wedding for that date.

Yes — and there’s a little thank-you for doing so. If you choose to pay the full amount upfront instead of the 50% deposit, I offer a discount on the total package price.

I know you’ll be dying to see them. You’ll receive a first selection of sneak peeks within 72 hours after your wedding. Your complete, fully edited gallery will be delivered within 4 weeks.

I carefully select and edit the photos that tell the story of your day, so you receive a meaningful collection rather than hundreds of almost-identical shots. The exact number naturally depends on the duration and schedule of your wedding.

Please don’t worry — you are very, very far from being the first couple to tell me this. I’ll guide you when needed, especially during your couple portraits, but I won’t make you stand there doing uncomfortable poses for an hour. I want your photos to look and feel natural, while still giving you beautiful portraits that you’ll actually love.

Of course, if you are in Athens before your wedding. Choosing your wedding photographer is quite personal, and I think you should know who you’re trusting with such an important part of your day. We can have a call, talk through your plans, go over the timeline and make sure we’re a good fit before you decide.

We make a plan. I’m not going to let a little rain ruin your photos — and honestly, some of the most beautiful wedding photos happen when the weather doesn’t cooperate. We’ll discuss your options beforehand and adapt on the day if necessary.
